The 8171 Web Portal (8171.bisp.gov.pk) is BISP’s only official website to check your eligibility and payment status by CNIC — completely free, no login and no password. The current installment (October–December 2026) is Rs 14,500, released district by district in phases; the payment will rise to Rs 18,000 from January 2027. You can also check by sending your CNIC via SMS to 8171.

Remember two things: there is no online registration (registration is only through the free NSER survey at a BISP Tehsil Office), and payments are now moving to the 1Link Social Protection Wallet linked to your SIM. This one guide covers every BISP topic beneficiaries search for — checking, registration, wallet, stipends for children, and the solution to every common problem.

BISP 8171 Web Portal 2027 Check Online By CNIC Guide

The 8171 Web Portal is the simplest, safest way to check your BISP status — free, instant and official. Check your status first, wait for the 8171 confirmation SMS, and only then visit an authorised retailer with your original CNIC. For registration, remember there is exactly one route: the free NSER survey at a BISP Tehsil Office. Share this guide with any family that depends on BISP, and report every fraud or deduction — that is how the system stays honest for everyone.

8171 Web Portal – Check BISP Payment By CNIC Online

This is the most searched BISP topic, and the method takes less than a minute:

  1. Open 8171.bisp.gov.pk in your mobile or computer browser
  2. Type your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes) in the first box
  3. Type the picture code (captcha) shown on the screen exactly as it appears
  4. Press the green “Check” button
  5. Your eligibility and payment status will appear on the screen immediately

The portal needs no account, no login and no password — only your CNIC and the picture code. If the picture code is rejected, refresh the page and type the new code carefully.

BISP Payment Check By SMS – Send CNIC to 8171

If you have no internet, the SMS method reads the same BISP record:

  1. Open the messaging app on your phone
  2. Type your 13-digit CNIC number without dashes or spaces
  3. Send it to 8171
  4. The reply SMS with your status usually arrives within a few minutes

Use a SIM registered in your own name — a SIM in someone else’s name can block or delay the reply. Send the message once and wait; sending again and again does not speed it up.

What Your BISP 8171 Result Means – Every Status Explained

Portal ResultWhat It MeansWhat To Do Next
EligibleYour household is approved for Benazir KafaalatWait for the confirmation SMS from 8171, then collect your payment
Payment in Process / ReleasedYour installment is approved and moving to your wallet/centreWait for the 8171 SMS before going to collect — going early wastes a trip
Under VerificationYour record is being matched with NADRA/survey dataWait a few days and check again; keep your CNIC valid and unexpired
Not EligibleYour PMT score is above the cut-off, or your record fails a conditionVisit a BISP Tehsil Office and ask about a fresh dynamic survey
No Record FoundThis CNIC is not in the BISP database at allRegistration is required — free NSER Dynamic Survey at the Tehsil Office
Survey RequiredYour old survey has expired or data is incompleteGo to the Tehsil Office with CNIC and children’s B-Forms for a new survey

An “Eligible” result alone does not mean the money is ready. The installment is collectable only after you receive the confirmation SMS from 8171.

BISP New Payment Date – November 2026 Installment Rs 14,500

The October–December 2026 quarter’s installment of Rs 14,500 is being released phase-wise, district by district — BISP has announced no single date for the whole country, and any post claiming one fixed nationwide date is guessing. Districts are opened in phases, so:

  • If your status shows “Eligible” but no payment yet, your district’s phase may not have opened — check again every 2–3 days
  • Collect your payment only after the 8171 confirmation SMS
  • The next increase is already decided: from the January–March 2027 quarter, the installment becomes Rs 18,000

BISP Payment Schedule 2027

QuarterMonthsAmountStatus
Q3 2026July – September 2026Rs 14,500Paid / closed
Q4 2026October – December 2026Rs 14,500Current — phase-wise
Q1 2027January – March 2027Rs 18,000Announced in Federal Budget 2026-27

Ignore reports of Rs 13,500, Rs 15,000 or Rs 25,000 installments — the verified current amount is Rs 14,500, and Rs 18,000 applies only from January 2027, it is not being paid in any 2026 month.

BISP Rs 18,000 Qist 2027 – The Complete Truth

The increase to Rs 18,000 per quarter from January 2027 comes from the Federal Budget 2026-27 (BISP’s allocation was raised to Rs 838 billion). It is not the result of any single press conference or E-Kachahri, and nobody has received Rs 18,000 yet. Until December 2026 ends, every Kafaalat payment is Rs 14,500. If a video or post tells you Rs 18,000 has “started”, it is wrong.

Can You Check BISP Balance By CNIC?

No. The 8171 portal and SMS show your eligibility and payment status only — never a balance. Your money sits in your digital wallet (or bank account channel). To see an actual balance, check your wallet/bank app (JazzCash, Easypaisa or your partner bank’s app), or ask at the retailer when withdrawing. The 8171 confirmation SMS is your proof that the money has arrived.

BISP 1Link Digital Wallet 2027 – The 8171 New Payment System

BISP is shifting payments to an interoperable Social Protection Wallet system built with 1LINK and partner banks (BISP Press Release No. 50, June 2026). Your stipend is credited to a wallet linked to your own SIM, and you can withdraw it from any partner bank’s authorised retailer anywhere in Pakistan — you are no longer tied to one bank’s camps in your own district.

Partner Banks & Wallets in the BISP 1Link System

  • Habib Bank Limited (HBL)
  • Bank Alfalah
  • Bank of Punjab (BOP)
  • HBL Microfinance Bank
  • Easypaisa
  • JazzCash

How the wallet works:

  • About 90% of beneficiaries already had wallets by August 2026, and free SIMs were distributed at a large scale for this system
  • Collecting your first installment at an authorised retailer activates your wallet — go only after the confirmation SMS
  • RAAST and online transfers from the wallet are free; a fixed charge of about Rs 280 on cash withdrawals from the wallet has been reported (not charged by BISP itself)
  • Never hand your phone or your wallet PIN to a retailer — enter it yourself

How To Collect / Withdraw Your BISP Payment

  1. Wait for the confirmation SMS from 8171 on your own SIM
  2. Visit any authorised retailer of a partner bank (HBL Konnect, Bank Alfalah, BOP, Easypaisa, JazzCash points) or the BISP payment camp in your district
  3. Carry your original CNIC — a photocopy is not accepted
  4. Complete biometric thumb verification on the retailer’s device
  5. Collect the full amount and take the printed receipt before leaving
  6. If the device fails repeatedly, ask for face verification at the BISP Tehsil Office (see Problems section below)

No deduction is legal. If any retailer cuts even one rupee, note his shop name and location and complain (channels given below) — deduction cases are acted on.

BISP Registration 2027 – NSER Dynamic Survey (The Only Way)

Read this carefully, because it is the most misunderstood BISP topic: there is no online registration for BISP — not on the 8171 portal, not on any website, not through any app. The portal and SMS can only check status. Registration happens in exactly one way:

  1. Visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office (registration desks also operate through mobile registration vans in remote areas)
  2. Take the woman’s original CNIC, children’s B-Forms, and a SIM registered in her own name (a utility bill may also be asked for)
  3. Staff will conduct your NSER Dynamic Survey interview — questions about your household, income, house and family members
  4. Your NADRA biometric verification is done on the spot
  5. A PMT (poverty) score is calculated from your survey answers
  6. The result comes by SMS from 8171 — eligible households are added to Benazir Kafaalat and the linked schemes

One survey covers all BISP schemes together — Kafaalat, Taleemi Wazaif, Nashonuma and Hunarmand. Registration is completely free and has no last date — surveys run all year.

Update for unmarried women: In a BISP briefing reported by APP (29 October 2026), officials highlighted that the “ever-married” condition for Kafaalat has been removed. Implementation steps were not detailed in the briefing, so unmarried women should confirm their record directly at the Tehsil Office.

Eligibility & PMT Score Check – Who Qualifies?

PMT Score Cut-Off32 or below
Households with a disabled memberUp to 37
Registration NameThe female head of the household
Domicile / CNICValid, unexpired CNIC required

You will NOT qualify if a household member is a government employee, an income-tax filer, a car owner, or travels abroad frequently. The portal and SMS do not show your PMT score — for your score slip, visit the Tehsil Office with your original CNIC. A “Not Eligible” result after an old survey usually means your data is outdated; ask about a fresh dynamic survey (BISP does not normally repeat a survey within two years of the last one — an expired CNIC must first be renewed at NADRA, because it blocks biometric verification).

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif 2027 – Stipends For Your Children

If the mother is an active Kafaalat beneficiary, her children studying in school or college get quarterly education stipends — paid to the mother, on one condition: the child must have at least 70% attendance.

LevelBoy (per quarter)Girl (per quarter)
Primary (Class 1–5), age 4–12Rs 1,500Rs 2,000
Secondary (Class 6–10), age 8–18Rs 2,500Rs 3,000
Higher Secondary (Class 11–12), age 13–22Rs 3,500Rs 4,000

Girls get Rs 500 more at every level, plus a one-time Rs 3,000 graduation bonus when a girl completes primary school. More than 12 million children are covered. Note: a further Rs 500-per-student increase has been reported during 2026 — check the exact amount credited to you on the 8171 portal against the mother’s CNIC. Enrolment is done through the school and the BISP office of your area with the child’s B-Form.

Benazir Nashonuma 2027 – For Mothers & Small Children

Nashonuma supports pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 2 years of age from BISP-registered households: conditional cash support, regular health check-ups, and specialised nutritious food to prevent stunting. Registration is not at the Tehsil Office survey desk — it is done at Nashonuma Centres located in government hospitals and BISP facilitation desks. Take the mother’s CNIC, the child’s B-Form and vaccination card.

Benazir Hunarmand 2027 – Free Skills Training

Benazir Hunarmand provides free vocational and technical training to members of BISP beneficiary families, so a family can move from stipends toward its own income. Courses run through partner training institutes; enrolment information is available at your BISP Tehsil Office. (A separate Benazir Undergraduate Scholarship is handled through HEC for university students from BISP families.)

Every BISP Problem & Its Solution

1. Fingerprint (Biometric) Not Matching

This is the commonest payment problem — worn fingerprints from manual work. First, clean your hands and retry 3 times on the retailer’s device. If it still fails, go to the BISP Tehsil Office for face verification (iris/face verification) — BISP has special provision for women whose fingerprints do not match. The payment is then released through an alternative verification route.

2. No Record Found / Not Eligible

“No Record Found” means your CNIC is not in the database — you need registration. “Not Eligible” means your PMT score is above the cut-off or a condition failed. In both cases, the solution is a fresh dynamic survey at the Tehsil Office — there is no online way to change either result, and no one can change your PMT score for payment.

3. Portal / SMS Not Working

First, check your spelling: CNIC must be 13 digits, no dashes. If the picture code fails repeatedly, refresh the page for a new code. The portal sometimes slows down during phase release days — try again in the evening. If your SMS gets no reply, confirm the SIM is registered in your own name and has balance for one message (the 8171 SMS is free, but some packages block short codes).

4. Payment Cut By Retailer (Deduction)

Illegal, full stop. You are entitled to the full Rs 14,500 (or Rs 18,000 from January 2027). Never accept a cut, never agree to a “fee”. Take the retailer’s name and shop location and complain immediately — see complaints section below. Many retailers have been blacklisted for deductions.

5. CNIC Expired / Blocked

An expired CNIC blocks biometric verification and payment. Renew it first at NADRA (normal or urgent), then try again — no BISP office can bypass an expired CNIC.

6. Status Shows Eligible But No Payment SMS

Wait — your district phase may not have opened yet, or your wallet activation is pending. Keep checking every 2–3 days. Do not visit a camp or retailer before the SMS — you will be turned away.

7. “Under Verification” For Months

Visit the Tehsil Office with your CNIC and ask what document or data is missing. Common causes: an old survey, a mismatch with NADRA records, or a pending re-verification after a complaint.

Ehsaas vs BISP – Are They The Same?

Ehsaas was a broader poverty-alleviation programme launched in 2019. In 2023, its main cash-transfer schemes (Ehsaas Kafaalat, Ehsaas Emergency Cash) were merged back into BISP. So if you search for “Ehsaas 8171” today, you are looking for BISP’s 8171 system — same portal, same SMS, same Tehsil Offices. There is no separate Ehsaas registration or payment today.

Contact & Complaints – Official Channels Only

  • BISP Toll-Free Helpline: 0800-26477
  • WhatsApp Complaints (BISP): 0300-0347725
  • Visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office with your original CNIC
  • For technical portal problems, the BISP helpdesk at bisp.gov.pk

Never pay anyone to “register”, “increase” or “unlock” your payment. BISP staff never ask for money, and no agent can change your PMT score or approval.

BISP Fraud Alert – Fake Websites, Apps & Messages

Only 8171.bisp.gov.pk and bisp.gov.pk are official. Fraudsters run copycat sites, WhatsApp groups and fake “BISP apps” that steal CNIC numbers and charge “registration fees”. Red flags:

  • Any site asking for a fee for registration, checking or payment
  • Any message from a number other than 8171 claiming your payment is ready
  • Any person asking for your CNIC photo, bank details or wallet PIN
  • Any “agent” promising approval for payment

If you receive a suspicious message, do not click its links — report it on the helpline.
